Disable Protections
Some Windows security features can interfere with our products. Follow these steps to disable them temporarily.
Disable Memory Integrity (Core Isolation)
- Open Windows Security
- Go to Device Security → Core isolation details
- Turn off Memory Integrity
- Restart your PC

A restart is required after disabling Memory Integrity.
Disable Secure Boot (if required)
Some products may require Secure Boot to be disabled. Only do this if instructed.
- Restart your PC and enter BIOS (usually
F2,Del, orF12during boot) - Find the Secure Boot option (usually under Security or Boot)
- Set it to Disabled
- Save and exit BIOS
Disable Virtualization-Based Security (VBS)
- Press
Win + R, typemsinfo32, and press Enter - Check if Virtualization-based security is listed as "Running"
- If running:
- Open Turn Windows features on or off
- Uncheck Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Platform
- Restart your PC
Verify Protections Are Disabled
After restarting, verify in msinfo32:
