Create a Restore Point
Before using any cheats, we strongly recommend creating a Windows System Restore Point. This allows you to roll back your system if anything goes wrong.
How to Create a Restore Point
- Press
Win + Sand search for "Create a restore point" - Click on it to open System Properties
- In the System Protection tab, select your main drive (usually
C:) - If protection is not enabled:
- Click Configure
- Select Turn on system protection
- Set disk space to 5-10%
- Click OK
- Click Create...
- Name it something memorable (e.g.,
Before OwnCheats) - Click Create and wait for it to complete
Why This Matters
A restore point saves:
- Your system settings
- Installed drivers
- Registry state
- Windows files
It does not back up personal files, games, or downloads.
tip
If the cheat causes a driver issue or blue screen, you can boot into Safe Mode and restore from this point.
