How to Avoid Getting Banned
Using cheats always carries risk. You can't eliminate it entirely, but following these practices will significantly reduce your chances of being detected or reported.
Play Smart
The biggest reason players get banned isn't the cheat itself — it's how they use it. Anti-cheats flag suspicious behavior, and other players report you.
Imagine someone is spectating you. If your gameplay would look suspicious to them, you're doing too much. Dial it back.
Every game is different, so there's no single set of "safe" settings. Instead, use common sense:
- Aimbot — if your aim looks unnatural (snapping, tracking through walls, only headshots), it's too obvious.
- ESP — use it for awareness, not to pre-aim through walls. Spectators and replay systems will catch you staring at players through objects.
- No recoil — use sparingly. Kill cams reveal zero-recoil spray patterns instantly.
- Speed hacks, fly hacks, teleports — never use these. They are instantly detectable.
- Radar — generally safe since it's only visible to you.
Match the skill level of your lobby. If you're in a low-rank game, don't drop 40 kills. Sudden stat jumps trigger automated reviews and player reports.
Rage cheating (blatant aimbot, instant kills, impossible plays) will get you banned within hours, sometimes minutes. It's never worth it.
Keep the Loader Updated
- Always use the latest version of the loader
- We push updates when anti-cheat signatures change
- Running an old version means running a potentially detected version
- Check the #status channel in Discord before playing
One Account, One HWID
- Don't share your license key with others
- Don't use the same key across multiple PCs
- If you need to switch PCs, contact support for a reset
Check Detection Status Before Playing
Before every session:
- Check the product page on owncheats.com for detection status
- Check #status in Discord
- If the status is anything other than 🟢 Undetected — don't play
Bans are sometimes delayed. Even if you used a detected cheat and didn't get banned immediately, you may still be flagged. Stop using it as soon as a detection is announced.
Don't Stream or Record With Cheats Visible
- Hide the cheat menu before recording or streaming
- Some anti-cheats scan for cheat windows or overlays
- Never post gameplay clips that show cheat UI — this can lead to manual bans
Use a Separate Account (Recommended)
If you value your main account, use a secondary account for cheating. This way, if anything goes wrong, your main account stays clean.
